Matfen Hall is a listed grade II building set within its own lovely parkland and grounds. The Hall is a well-established and privately owned spa and golf resort, a lavish venue for the finest nuptial ceremonies in the region. It is a great privilege to enjoy the splendour of the East Wing of this great house, for the personal use of the wedding party and their esteemed guests.

The Bride and Groom will receive a red carpet welcome to the Hall, and the happy couple may enjoy the richly decorated and complimentary Bridal suite and a full English breakfast, when booking a civil ceremony for sixty guests or more. All of your wedding guests will receive a preferential rate for their accommodation at the Hall. You will also receive a delightful wedding gift from Matfen Hall.
Our Master of Ceremonies will guide you through your wedding day, and you may choose to hold your civil ceremony or same sex partnership in the splendour of the Great Hall, or outside in the romantic setting of the Dutch Garden.
Our wedding planners are at your disposal to assist with all your preparations, and table plans, place cards and menus will be provided for you, as well as the very lovely Matfen Hall cake stand and ceremonial knife: Naturally the quality of cuisine and wine is exquisite and the standard of service is impeccable.
Wedding breakfasts of up to one hundred and twenty guests and up to two hundred and fifty evening reception guests can be catered for in the beautiful East Wing of Matfen Hall.
There is ample free parking for all guests, and coupled with magnificent grounds for photo opportunities, it is a truly gorgeous setting to celebrate the most important day of ones life: An elegant and refined location for those who appreciate true quality. Now licensed for outdoor weddings.
